My Firsts

So, I'm a huge blog hopper as you all may know. I've been running across a handful of bloggers who started this thing called 'My Firsts'. Where there's a series of questions you are asked and you respond to them accordingly. It seemed like fun so I figure, hey I'll jump on this bandwagon lol! I hope you all enjoy the Q & A. Let's get to it shall we.......

 

1. First thing you do when you wake up in the morning

Wiggle out of bed and it's time for a potty break. Then it's downstairs to make hubs breakfast!

2. First thing you do when you get home from work

I work from home. When I do allow myself time away from the desk or adventure I'll cuddle on the couch with hubs for a while then fall asleep lol

3. First kiss

Believe it or not I can't even remember my first kiss LOL! I want to say my first kiss was in jr. high school but I'm not 100% sure. It could've been high school bwahhahaaa

 

4. First home

My first home was across town from where I grew up. Got my own apartment and everything was grand. From there I loved out of state.

5. First car

My first car was a Saturn heeheheee. I had a love/hate relationship with that car

6. First car accident/ traffic violation

Let's see... my first accident was in the snow. I was getting off the freeway heading home from work. Everyone knows not to stop going up a hill right?! Well, this dumb guy decides he's gonna try to stop at a light then take off..... uh no! So his car slid back into the front end of my car :( First traffic violation, I was caught doing 72 in a 45 on the freeway. I was late to practice LOL! No excuses right??!

7. First thing you wanted to be when you grew up

I think the first thing I said I wanted to be when I grow up was a singer. Everyone goes through that phase at some point. Yea, that was dream far fetched!

 

8. First choice beverage

Pop (Soda for you others hahhaaa, I'm country)

9. First choice dessert

Anything chocolateeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

10. First choice of restaurant

Olive Garden of course :)

Washer/Dryer

I know I know. I'm late. Better late than never right??! I've been so tied up with family stuff that I totally deserted my blog and YT channel lol! I did, however, happen to pop on YT for a second with a new tag video. So be sure to check it out. This year I plan to make lots of changes. I plan to blog alot more as well as vlog on YT. I'll try to make a point to do either or once a week. So tell me, what are some of the things you'd like me to discuss or go over with you on here & YT? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :) So blessed to have made it another year. Thank God! Hope you all had a marvelous Thanksgiving and SAFE Black Friday shopping day. Now I'm off to do my BIRTHDAY festivities :) ehhhhhhhhhhhh

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As most of you already know it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I, too, would like to dedicate a post or two on my blog about Breast Cancer along with helpful information and references to help with the Awareness. Breast Cancer is something that is very near and dear to my heart. Cancer in general is. I've had family members die from Cancer. I have a childhood friend who's mother beat Breast Cancer a couple years back. I thank God everyday for the blessing of giving her life again.

I can't say I get checked as often as I need. I know it's suppose to be yearly but I haven't been nearly as much as I should. Especially with Cancer being very present in my genetics. I do my own checks as well as my husband BUT it's nothing like going to a professional who specialists in that field and hearing them say you are all clear, see you next year. If your unsure of how to do your own checks it's very simple. You need to lye flat on your back. Whichever side you are wanting to check first you need to raise that hand and put it behind your head. Take the other hand and rotate your hand in a circular motion with your finger tips looking for any time of lump or what have you. Check the entire area except where the nipple is. Then repeat on the other side. I check monthly but you don't have to check as often as I do. I am just one who is very very particular of my temple and would like to rather know than go unnoticed. Got a little Giggly at practice last night. We joked that our dance partner ship was like a really bad codependent relationship. "Give me some space", "Don't push me"... :)

Wishin' I was gettin' all Snuggly with my man... was supposed to be, but... well, you all know how that goes some times. *I'm lookin at you Navy* :(

I am thankful that my blood work from yesterdays doc visit came back and only said I was vitamin D deficient and not anemic. I chalk that up to living the Pacific NW.

I am excited to dress up for Halloween this year, even if it's because my Monkey isn't home. I haven't done anything for Halloween for the last three years. I LOVE dressing up. That's why i love ballet. You are never too old to wear a tutu. At least, in the "appropriate" setting.

I got a bit of glee in my not so awesome week from a pretty really nice little gift I received.
